We are looking for a dedicated Dog Trainer at Petco in Altoona, PA. The primary responsibilities of this role include not only training dogs but also completing cash register transactions and providing guest carry-out service. The carry-out service involves handling merchandise that weighs up to but does not exceed 50 pounds per trip. This role requires physical strength, patience, and a deep love for animals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of dog behavior and training techniques, and be able to apply them effectively to train dogs of all breeds and sizes. Excellent customer service skills are also required, as the role involves interacting with pet owners, understanding their needs and concerns, and providing them with advice and solutions.
