Eclipse Day in Hollidaysburg/Blair County

Greetings to all the wonderful folks in Hollidaysburg and Blair County! Today is a special day as we get to witness a fascinating astronomical event – an eclipse. We have some important details to share with you, so you can fully enjoy this spectacular spectacle.

A huge shout-out to the Hollidaysburg Planetarium for their fantastic work in promoting the wonders of science in our community. Their educational resources have helped us all appreciate and understand events like today’s eclipse.

Eclipse Schedule

The eclipse will start to grace our skies at 2:03 pm. The event will continue until we reach a maximum coverage of 95% at 3:19 pm. After this, the moon’s shadow will gradually move away from the sun, and we will be back to full sunlight by 4:32 pm. Remember, even if there are some clouds in the sky, we can still enjoy the darkening of our Blair County skies!
