Get Your Eclipse Glasses and Support the Hollidaysburg Planetarium!

Hey there! We’ve been getting a lot of questions about eclipse glasses for the big event on April 8th. Well, we’re here to tell you exactly where you can get them, and how doing so can help support a great cause!

Where to Buy Eclipse Glasses?

You can purchase eclipse glasses for just $1 each at the Hollidaysburg Senior High auditorium entrance. We’re selling them today (Thursday) from 3-5pm, Friday from 5-7pm, and Saturday from 10am-2pm. And the best part? Every purchase supports the Hollidaysburg Planetarium, a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading knowledge about our amazing universe!

Free Eclipse Glasses at the Library

If you have a valid Hollidaysburg Area Public Library card, you can also pick up free eclipse glasses at the Library’s Circulation desk. But hurry, they’re only available while supplies last, with a limit of 2 pairs per household.

Stay Updated with Hollidaysburg Planetarium and Library

Be sure to follow the Facebook pages of both the Hollidaysburg Planetarium and the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library for up-to-date information about eclipse glasses and public programs about the eclipse. For instance, next Tuesday the 26th, the library will be hosting a special Solar Eclipse Storytime for preschoolers and their grownups at 10:30am, with special guest Christy Shields. Don’t miss it!

New Planetarium Shows
