Join the Hollidaysburg Clean and Green Event this May!
Hey friends, neighbors, and lovers of our lovely town, Hollidaysburg! We’ve got some exciting news for you. On Saturday, May 18, we’re all coming together to keep our Downtown area clean and green. That’s right! We’re rolling up our sleeves and giving back to our community, and we’d love for you to join us.
What’s Happening?
We’ll be meeting at 8am outside CopyRite on the Diamond to organize ourselves and distribute the necessary supplies. The first 25 participants to arrive will be provided with gloves and orange vests, so make sure you’re an early bird!
What Should You Bring?
- Sturdy shoes: We’ll be on our feet for a while, so comfort is key.
- Long pants and long sleeves: These will provide protection. Sorry, folks, shorts aren’t recommended this time.
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat: If you haven’t been out in the sun lately, these will come in handy.
Where and When?
We’ll be focusing our efforts on Allegheny Street, between Penn and North Juniata. We’ll start at 8am and keep going until we’re done, which will likely be before noon.
Who Can Join?
We’re expecting up to 25 participants for this Hollidaysburg Pick Up Pennsylvania event. Although we prefer participants to be aged 14 and above, those under 14 are welcome if they’re accompanied by an adult. To RSVP, just give us a call at 814-935-9218. But don’t worry if you can’t RSVP – you’re more than welcome to just show up and join in!
