Urgent Weather Update for Blair, PA

Expected Weather Conditions
Heavy rainfall is expected to continue throughout the night with an additional 0.25 to 1.50 inches forecasted. This rainfall, combined with snowmelt, is likely to cause minor flooding along the middle and lower Susquehanna tributaries on Wednesday. In addition, significant within-bank rises or above action stage are forecast along the main stem of the Susquehanna River on Friday.
Wind is another factor to consider. Gusty winds, with speeds reaching 50-55 mph, are expected to continue through Wednesday. Along the ridges of the Alleghenies, localized gusts could reach up to 60 mph.
Important Updates
Here are some important changes to keep in mind:
- A Flood Advisory has been issued for south-central Pennsylvania through midnight tonight.
- The Wind Advisory has been expanded to include all of central Pennsylvania through Wednesday evening.
- The graphics for rainfall maps and river forecasts have been updated.
