Hollidaysburg’s WinterFest Celebration: A Night of Fun, Food, and Festivities
Get ready to celebrate the holiday season in style, Hollidaysburg! Tonight, from 5-7pm on Allegheny Street, the annual WinterFest celebration takes place. This is a fantastic opportunity for friends and neighbors to come together and enjoy the spirit of the season.
What’s On The Program?
There’s a feast of activities lined up for everyone. Marvel at the skills of Tim Klock, the ice sculptor, as he transforms blocks of ice into stunning works of art. Enjoy the harmonious melodies of the Hollidaysburg Area Community Chorus and the ABC Brass Collective. And guess what? Santa will be there too, so make sure the little ones bring their wish lists!
Food and Drinks
Feeling peckish? Not to worry, we’ve got you covered. There will be a kettle corn vendor on-site to provide a snack. Plus, Canoe Creek Brethren In Christ Church will be offering free coffee and hot chocolate – perfect for keeping the chill at bay!
Soup Sampling Contest
And if that’s not enough, there’s also a soup sampling contest! For a $6 donation, you can get a ticket to sample various soups. The tasting begins at 5pm, and you can vote for your favorite soup by 6:25pm. The winners will be announced by Joe Murgo just before the tree lighting at 7pm.
Join The Celebration!
We hope to see you there, enjoying the festivities and the camaraderie. Let’s make this WinterFest celebration a memorable one!
