BLAIR PA ALERT: National Weather Service Partners-Blair County and Surrounding Areas-Sunday, September 10, 2023 Urgent

An urgent alert for Blair County and surrounding areas has been issued by the National Weather Service partners. The bulletin concerns imminent thunderstorms which could bring with them heavy rain, capable of causing flash flooding in certain locations across Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. These thunderstorms are expected to escalate later in the afternoon and into the evening. The other two sites provide ongoing weather briefing and self-briefing pages where additional up-to-the-minute weather advisories can be located. The alert has been broadcasted by the Blair County Department of Emergency Services-CF and is viewed as a serious concern that warrants immediate attention and preparation.
